If you can't stop binge eating there is
a very good scientific reason., those who have tried but cannot seem
to control their appetites should know that this problem may have
started from the womb of your mother. It is possible to end bingeing
disorder when you learn how the brain triggers the urge to overeat.
Appetite is related to stress, depression and many other complex
factors, those who suffer from various eating disorder should be
aware that it is not their fault. if you are one of the millions of
people wondering why you can't stop binge eating this post will
address how appetite and food choice starts from the womb and how to
stop the brain urge which causes bingeing.
Mothers play a very important role in
the future appetite and food choices of a baby,
Monell
Chemical Senses Center a
research organization in Philadelphia
revealed that our preferences for certain foods begin in the womb and
that our mothers play a huge role in what we eat as children but
surprisingly also what we eat as adults. The study lead researcher
stated:
What’s really interesting about
children is, the preferences they form during the first years of life
actually predict what they’ll eat later,” said Julie Mennella, a
biopsychologist and researcher at the Monell Center.
“Dietary patterns track from early
to later childhood but once they are formed, once they get older,
it’s really difficult to change — witness how hard it is to
change the adult. You can, but it’s just harder. Where you start,
is where you end up.”
All bingeing is related to stress and
emotional responses, the reason a person who suffers from bingeing
cannot binge eating is due to the fact that the brain triggers the
urge to overeating. What causes the brain to fire off a response
causing the urge to binge? The brain triggers which signals the urge
to eat large quantities of food in a single setting are mainly
emotional. Stress, depression or childhood traumas can set the stage
for a future binge eating disorder. The study above reveals that our
appetite is partly determined by what our mothers introduced into our
stomachs from when she was pregnant. As adults stress triggers from a
job or relationship can cause the brain to trigger a response causing
the urge to consume at times very large portions of food.
Binging reveals deeper emotional
stresses, this should not be ignored, dieting does not stop a binge
because diets cannot stop the brain triggers from an emotional
response.
A diet created to stop bingeing
When researchers
in Europe fed a specialized diet designed to stop the brain triggers
which cause the desire to binge those who were binging stopped, this
was a specialized diet designed for bingers which allowed the person
to eat what they liked. The key was stopping the emotional brain
trigger to overeating. The average diet cannot stop binge eating.
Only a diet
created and designed for bingeing, food addiction and overeating was
shown to work. This is now used in over 10 countries
